PSMHA Referees

Now is the time for Adults to consider becoming a hockey Referee
Welcome to another season of refereeing with Prairie Storm Minor Hockey.
This is a request for those of you who wish to referee with us again this season to let us know ASAP. I am now ready to start scheduling referees for evaluations. Therefore please send me a short message describing your refereeing experience, age, and teams you will be playing for this season, if applicable. Also provide your expected availability during September and if you wish to be scheduled for games during September.
Scheduling this season will be done on line through the Storm website. Details will be sent to you once the referee scheduling site is up and running.
YOU WILL BE ABLE TO LOGIN INTO THE PSMHA WEBSITE AND CHECK OFF WHICH DATES YOU ARE AVAILABLE TO OFFICIATE.
THE LOGIN CREDENTIALS FOR THE WEBSITE WILL ALL BE RESET, AND YOU WILL RECEIVE A NEW PASSWORD SHORTLY.
We are also looking for more Officials to do the Bantam/Midget/Female age groups, if you know of anyone with their higher levels in Officiating, please pass this along to them.
Thank you for your continued assistance, I look forward to working with you this season.
Any questions, please e-mail me at refereeic@psmha.ca or call my cell phone at 501-8621.
Sincerely, Ian McKENZIE

PSMHA Officials Mentoring Program
|
|
We have a Mentorship program in the PSMHA where a group of senior officials go out to games and evaluate our officials within Prairie Storm. This is simply to help our younger officials develop into better refs and linesman If you have any questions, comments or concerns regarding our refereeing please feel free to call or e-mail us. We hope these programs will be succesful in improving the quality of our officiating in PSMHA.
We'd like to collect a list of all referees who have officiated and wish to continue officiating & recruit new players/parents who want to officiate in our hockey association.
